Where's all the Action??

Once again East Cape steels the show!
Darryl Russell's 252kg Blue Marlin at Waihau Bay on 29 Jan 2010

Inspired by reports of lots of marlin being caught round Waihau,
Darryl and his crew went down to try for a Marlin.
With improving sea conditions they started working a small area of bait fish in 100-150m
resutling in albacore, nearby another boat hooked up, then Darryl hooked up!!
First sighting their huge blue marlin after 2 hours they soon realised they had a big job ahead
trying to land such a huge fish on a trailer boat..
